I am so done feeling small, making myself insignificant, shutting down my ideas and whisper about my needs and desires rather than feeling confident, declaring this beautiful life that is so within the reach, I can't even.

And I am here to take you on the journey with me. Show you what I know, what I've learned, what is possible for you! So if you are ready to do the work, take my hand and let's make a JUMP!

When people ask about me and my story, I always say:

My life is extraordinary!

Because no matter how much pain, unfairness, betrayal, abandonment and fear I endured, it made me into who I am today and I embrace and OWN IT!

So here it is!

I grew up on Sakhalin Island and moved to Australia when I was a teenager by myself. It was a big change considering I didn’t know the language or had any family and friends. I had to become street smart very early and this didn’t come without hitting a few lows, making mistakes and bad decisions.

Very early on I developed abandonment issues because I didn't want to leave my country; it led to co-dependency, people pleasing, anxiety, unhealthy habits, toxic behavior. I lived my adult life trying to be liked, invited, cared for and loved so much, that I got into series of toxic relationships where I had no boundaries, no respect for myself, put my needs last and completely had no self-worth.

Near death and re-birth

When I was 19, I got into a serious accident where I broke my facial bones. My face had to be put back together… quite literally. This experience led me to re-think everything in my life and I've decided to go on a journey.

I travelled around India, Nepal, lived in Bali (it’s my second home), had a spiritual teacher for 7 years. I took up A LOT of healing tools and modalities to heal from my traumatic childhood and challenging relationship with my father.

The journey back to self is the most rewarding and exciting one. Full of lessons, ups and downs. Everything I did led me to where I am today and I am here to share my passion with you and help guide you to your confident and loving self.

Brand

Prior to founding lalagasanova.co, my business was called PureHolistix and when I started coaching people self-love and boundaries, the name no longer resonated with me, so I have changed it to lalagasanova.co which I absolutely love! I’ve owned a few coaching and product businesses, where I helped women to release their emotions using NLP, hypnotherapy and Life coaching. The most common question I got asked was ‘How do I become more confident, self-loving and get out of this toxic relationship’?” And I’ve decided to make a few changes.

Since the business transformation in 2020, acquired new skills and experience, the brand has evolved to help women recover from people-pleasing, to raise their standards, re-gain their confidence and self-worth. And I fell in love with it. Why? Because I know exactly how it feels to not being able to stand up for yourself, feel like a pushover and a doormat. Feel like what you have to say is irrelevant, question your own intelligence, have no love or respect for yourself

Volunteering

I am a registered emotologist in a Psychological Centre of Emotional Help of A.Shakhov in Russia and I provide professional emotional support online to the victims of war in Ukraine, as assigned.
